All-White All-NZXT PC Build
Introduction – Building an All-NZXT PC Setup
Like many PC parts manufacturers, NZXT has expanded in recent years to cover more and more areas of the PC gaming market, so much so that PC builders can now construct systems almost entirely of NZXT components.
In recent months we have reviewed new NZXT cases, motherboards, cooling solutions and audio components, and while we have found that these components all work well on their own, we wanted to see what an All-NZXT system would look like, and how well all of these components interact in practice.
Aside from our system’s CPU, graphics card, SSD, and DRAM, all components within the system that we are building today are from NZXT. This even includes this PC’s audio components, its connected monitor, and vital accessories like its mouse, and keyboard. If there is an NZXT option for that component, we have used it, giving us a great looking system with matching parts.
Parts List
NZXT makes a lot more components than they used to, and that is one of the main reasons why we have decided to build this all-NZXT system. It is pleasing to have a PC with matching components, and to be able to control these components using a single software interface. While there are perks to mixing and matching hardware, there are also perks to sticking to a singular brand, especially if you already know how to use their software interface.
At the core of this NZXT system is the company’s N7 B650E Matte White motherboard, an AMD AM5 motherboard that supports DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 storage, and promises to support many future generations of AMD Ryzen processors. We will be building this system with AMD’s Ryzen 5 7600 processor, though we will note here that AMD’s Ryzen 5 7600 and their faster Ryzen 5 7600X are currently selling for similar prices at many retailers today, so buyers may be better off purchasing AMD’s faster Ryzen 5 7600X at the time of writing.
GPU-wise, we have utilised Nvidia’s RTX 4070 graphics card, a solid graphics card that offers users strong performance levels, fairly reasonable pricing (by today’s standards), and 12 GB of VRAM. A great GPU for 1440p gaming using NZXT’s 165Hz Canvas 27Q display.
For audio, we are using components from NZXT’s Relay audio ecosystem, including NZXT’s genius SwitchMix product, which seamlessly switches PC audio from your audio headset to your PC’s speakers and vice-versa whenever you put on, or place down your audio headset.
This system will be enclosed inside NZXT’s H5 Flow enclosure, and powered using NZXT’s C1200 Gold ATX 3.0 power supply. Yes, 1200 watts is a little overkill for this setup, but it does give us room for upgrades further down the line, perhaps to a higher-end Ryzen processor and a GPU like Nvidia’s RTX 4090.
Below are purchasing links to the hardware that we have used in this PC build. In the latter pages of this article we will be discussing the components that we have used.
