ROG Xbox Ally X Review

We know we’re not really here for these, but as the Z2 Extreme processor and Radeon 890M graphics are new it doesn’t hurt to show them off. It’s yet another benefit of the Ally X being a Windows 11 system, rather than some customised OS. Oddly the motherboard is listed as RC73XA which is actually the codename for this particular 2025 ROG Ally X. Must be a custom PCB. We know it looks like the DRAM is running much slower than its 8000mhz klisted in the specs but it agressively downclocks everything when not being used, it strangely still does this even when plugged into the mains.
