1080p Performance – Benchmark Results

Even at 1080p, Control demands a lot of graphics performance to run at over 60FPS. Thankfully, as you have seen on pages 3 and 4, Control’s lower graphics presets can still look great. On page 7, you will also have seen that there are plenty of graphical options available to claw back GPU performance. 

Even our GTX 1060 and RX 580 can maintain average framerates of over 60FPS with the right settings. So please, don’t scream “UNOPTIMISED” at the top of your lungs. Control still look great at lower settings. The problem here is that high settings can take its graphics to a stage where the performance loss is not necessarily worth the visual gains.
