RX 580 VS GTX 1060 – Graphical Scalability – Ultra Low to Ultra High
When benchmarking F1 2018, we decided to push the game as hard as we could, which meant testing a large portion of the game’s library of F1 tracks using a variety of weather conditions. In the end, we settled for the games Singapore Marina Bay Street Circuit track, using the game’s heavy weather conditions to introduce additional particle effects and reflective surfaces to increase GPU load.
In most cases, we found that our AMD RX 580 Strix outperformed Nvidia’s GTX 1060 Strix in most of the game’s graphical presets, though both graphics cards can offer similar gaming experiences throughout and are capable of 60+ FPS gameplay at 1440p when using the title’s High preset.
