4K Screenshot Graphical Comparison

When moving through the game’s graphical settings the clearest difference is between Low and Medium, where the game adds additional stones, moss and other details to the terrain and textures see a significant upgrade in visual quality.

Moving beyond Medium sees a more limited gain in graphical fidelity, though the game will benefit from higher resolution textures, higher detailed geometry in-game and enhanced distant details. These detail changes are very visible in the distant Samurai banner and other debris.

In general gameplay, it can be hard to notice the difference between medium, high and extreme, as typically players do not need to focus any further than the reach of their swords, though moving to high and Ultra settings will add much more detailed shadows, lighting and distance geometry.

Even at medium settings the game is beautiful, with a lot of advanced lighting effects and satisfying levels of environmental detail.
