On PC, turning off ray tracing can have a huge impact on game-performance, but not all gamers want to disable these impressive graphical features. For most PC gamers, turning down RTAO to High or Medium can result in significant performance gains without a huge loss in image quality. Disabling RTAO entirely can also result in a significant performance gain. Even so, lowering these settings has a small performance impact when compared to disabling ray tracing entirely.
