At 4K, none of the GPUs that we tested were able to achieve 60+ FPS framerates at 4K. That said, AMD’s RX 7900 XT and Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti are not the highest-end GPUs that are currently available. We fully expect GPUs like Nvidia’s RTX 4090 to achieve 60+ FPS at 4K when Forza Motorsport is maxed out on PC. That’s a lot of hardware for 4K 60 FPS, but a lot of performance can be clawed back with some lowered graphical settings.
With ray tracing disabled, framerates see a significant increase on all graphics cards. With upscaling or lowered graphical settings, even GPUs like AMD’s RX 6800 or Nvidia’s RTX 3070 Ti can achieve 60+ FPS framerates at 4K in this game, which is great news for owners of high resolution screens.
Given this Forza Motorsport’s 60 FPS framerate cap in multiplayer games, the ability to achieve higher framerates is of limited benefit to racers.
