1080p Performance – Most PC gamers should turn off ray tracing
When maxed out, Forza Motorsport requires a powerful PC to run. Even at 1080p, AMD’s RX 7900 XT barely manages to keep its 1st percentile framerates above 60 FPS. If high-end GPUs like that can struggle, expect low-end GPUs to dip below 30 FPS at these settings. Thankfully, disabling ray tracing makes this game run a lot better.
Ray Tracing Off
With ray tracing disabled, we can see the framerates of GPUs like AMD’s RX 6600 XT practically double. Lowering the game to High settings with ray tracing off will get GPUs like AMD’s RX 6600 XT and Nvidia’s RTX 2070 Super running at 60 FPS at all times, assuming that your system is not CPU-limited.
