In Prey, one of the main graphical issues is that you will often see textures draw into higher detail levels and often take a long time to react to character movement, which will often result in the game’s textures looking sub-par when compared to other modern AAA experiences. This issue is present at all graphical settings, even when the game is at maximum settings, though at low the game has some horrifically bad textures,Â

Moving up the game’s graphical settings will increase the number of interactable objects in some scenes, like mugs and other items in office settings, though some scenes will change more than others in this regard.Â
Moving up from low there is an immediate change in the game’s lighting as settings like Screen Space Directional Occlusion and Screen Space Reflections are enabled.Â
Prey has a huge need for Anti-Aliasing, suffering from a huge number of jagged regardless of what settings you play the game at. Even at 4K with maxed out AA jaggies were still clearly visible, which may put off those who are very sensitive to Aliasing.Â
