At 4K, Resident Evil 4 deliver strong performance levels of modern high-end GPUs, with AMD’s RX 6800 XT offering average framerates of over 60 FPS and Nvidia’s RTX 4090 delivering an average framerate of over 130 FPS. If you have a 4K VRR screen and a high-end graphics card, Resident Evil 4 should run well on your system, assuming that you have set this game’s texture settings correctly (as we have detailed on page 2).
With some settings alterations, graphics cards like Nvidia’s RTX 3070 Ti can deliver 60+ FPS performance during nearly all instances using our optimised game settings (which we will detail on page 8). This is at 4K with mostly maxed out settings and without FSR or any other form of upscaling. With this in mind, Resident Evil 4 is a game that runs incredibly well on modern PCs, even at high resolutions and without ultra-high-end graphics cards.
