As we said in our intro, wherever possible we’re comparing the new Intel Core i5-14600K to the Core i5-13600K that preceded it, and the closest performing 7000 series AMD Ryzen processor, the Ryzen 7 7700X. The 14th gen clearly is a step forwards, and not a tiny step either.
