Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

FidelityFX Super Resolution 2

For non-RTX graphics cards, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart supports FidelityFX Super Resolution, XeSS, and Temporal Injection to give gamers some upscaling action. Below we have tested FSR 2 with AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX, showcasing the performance gains that are possible at 4K. Sadly, FSR exhibits more ghosting than DLSS, but it does deliver pleasing results for the most part. Sadly, we could not properly test XeSS in this game, as we do not have an Intel ARC graphics card to test. XeSS runs in a lower quality mode when it isn’t used with Intel graphics cards, which means that only Intel GPU users can have the best possible XeSS experience.
