AMD Raven Ridge Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G Review

AMD Raven Ridge Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G Review

3DMARK Sky Diver

To start off our iGPU and memory speed testing we will have a look at Futuremark’s 3DMARK Sky Diver benchmark, a tool that acts as a moderate alternative to the company’s Fire Strike graphical test. This benchmark is designed with lower-end systems in mind, offering more balance between CPU and GPU requirements.

In this test both the 2200G and 2400G benefit from higher memory clock speeds, offering 7/10.1% increases in graphics scores, a 5/5.5% increases in Physics scores and 7.2/10% boosts in combined results respectively.

These tests show that memory speed can be a critical factor for these APUs under gaming workloads, especially for the 2400G which has a larger GPU core to feed.
