AMD Raven Ridge Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G Review

In Cinebench we can see that AMD’s new Raven Ridge CPU can pack a punch when compared to their last-generation counterparts.

Both the Ryzen 3 2200G and the Ryzen 5 2400G surpassing their Ryzen 3 1300X and Ryzen 5 1500X at stock, CPUs that are higher up the AMD CPU lineup than the Ryzen 3 1200 and the Ryzen 5 1400 CPUs that these models are set to replace. Both models sit closer to overclocked versions of their previous generation counterparts than their stock performance. 

This boost is an impressive showing from AMD, especially when considering that this is a mid-generation CPU refresh, not a next-generation architecture or “tock” advancement to a new manufacturing process.
