When the Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G were first announced, they were very easy to dismiss as the same old Ryzen product with an iGPU. We were expecting modest improvements over AMD’s last-generation products, nothing revolutionary.

With this in mind, it is hard to look at Raven Ridge and not be impressed with what AMD has accomplished, offering a notable performance boost over their last-generation counterparts despite the technical downgrades in areas such as L3 cache capacity. There is a lot more to this product than the inclusion of an integrated GPU.
