AMD Raven Ridge Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G Review

In Blender, we can see the merits of high core count CPUs, especially in our 4K test that can take multiple hours to complete on low-end setups. To be honest, we didn’t expect much from these two budget quad-core offerings, though to say the least AMD has left us impressed. 

At stock both the Ryzen 3 2200G and the 2400G offer performance levels that are not only above their previous generation counterparts but rival them when overclocked. This uplift is great news for Blender users who are looking for a low-cost CPU for budget rendering. The Ryzen 3 1200 completed our 1080p workload in less than 40 minutes; the Ryzen 3 2200G finished the same test in in a little over 26 minutes, those results speak for themselves.
