Assassin’s Creed Shadows PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

High Hardware Requirements

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has high PC hardware requirements

I’ll be honest: I was a little shocked when Ubisoft revealed Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ hardware requirements. This is a game that was made with current-gen hardware in mind, and that means that this game needs a powerful GPU to run at its highest graphical settings.

Ubisoft recommends an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT for 1080p 60 FPS gameplay at Medium Settings. The good news is that Assassin’s Creed Shadows looks great at medium. That said, Medium settings with “selective ray tracing” leaves a lot of the game’s most advanced graphical features turned off.

What should be known about this game is that its most advanced graphical features call for advanced GPU hardware. This is especially true if you want to target high resolutions and high refresh rates.
