Assassin’s Creed Shadows PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

FSR 3.1 Testing

AMD FSR Testing

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has launched with FSR 3.1. Since we lack an RX 9070 series GPU for testing, we cannot confirm whether this game can use AMD’s upgradable FSR API to support FSR 4 on RDNA 4 graphics cards.

Overall, FSR 3 doesn’t deliver the same levels of image quality as DLSS. That said, it remains a solid solution for upscaling. This is especially true at 4K. FSR Frame Generation can also deliver increased smoothness, which is great news for users of high refresh rate displays.
