1440p Ultra Settings
With F1 23’s Ultra preset including ray tracing, it is easy to see why few graphics cards are able to achieve 60+ FPS at 1440p Ultra settings. For this level of performance, GPUs like AMD’s RX 7900 XT or Nvidia’s RTX 3080 are required, though using DLSS or FSR will reduce these hardware requirements significantly.
Again, Nvidia graphics cards have a huge performance advantage at 1440p Ultra settings, simply due to the fact that Nvidia offers stronger ray tracing performance. When ray tracing is disabled, these performance charts move more in AMD’s favour.
1440p High settings
With F1 23’s high preset doing away with ray tracing, we can see GPUs like AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX achieve performance levels that are similar to Nvidia’s vastly more expensive RTX 4090, with AMD’s RX 6800 XT inching ahead of Nvidia’s RTX 3080. At 1440p high settings, GPUs like AMD’s RX 6600 XT and Nvidia’s RTX 2070 SUPER can achieve solid 60+ FPS framerates, and with DLSS or FSR, this is achievable with lower-end graphics cards.
