God of War Ragnarok PC Performance Review

Preset Scaling

Low-to-High

God of War Ragnarok is a game built for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It is designed to run on two very different hardware sets. The PlayStation 4 is ancient by today’s standards, meaning the game needed graphical settings that could cope with such an underpowered machine.

Moving from Ultra to Low can deliver huge performance gains in God of War Ragnarok. The good news is that the game still looks pretty good at Medium and Low settings, though (obviously) the game looks much better using Ultra settings. If you have an older PC, Medium settings will still give players a pleasing visual experience, and even low settings are usable. God of War proves that PC games can still look great at low settings.
