That covering piece really annoyed us. It just doesn’t match the attention to detail of the rest of the case. Nor, to be honest, what we’d expect from ASUS. Grabbing a sheet of Plasticard, some scissors, and a few moments of our afternoon, it is easy to build a replacement. This isn’t even mounted permanently either, but purely as a proof of concept. It’s the kind of mod that we’d recommend to everyone.
Looks much better, doesn’t it. Doesn’t it?
