ASUS TUF RTX 4070 Ti Super

The Super range of Nvidia graphics cards is their most recent releases. It used to just be the Ti cards followed the main launch. Things have got so confusing that this is a Ti card, but also a Super card. Here in ASUS TUF guise it does have a nice trick up it’s sleeve though.

We really like the ASUS TUF graphics card designs. They’re simpler than the shouty Strix offerings. It frees you up to design your aesthetics how you wish. Normally the graphics card dominates things so much it forces you down a certain visual pathway. Not so here.

Without the power connectors at the front, it takes a moment for your brain to process. You look at it and know something is different. Then you see the lack of power connectors. It’s all very sleek.

A closer look at the power adaptor fingers. If you’ll remember when we looked at the motherboard GPU slot you could see the power connector. These are how you get power from the back of the TUF to the card.

We have to confess that we’re not overly keen on how much space there is on the TUF. As you’ll see later it keeps cool well enough, but we’d like a heatsink that fills all this liminal space.
