Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

1440p Performance

1440p

At 1440p, Cyberpunk 2077 can still be played at 60+ FPS framerates with relatively modest hardware. That said, users of lower-end GPUs will need to use optimised settings and some form of upscaling to get the game running at at higher resolutions. Without ray tracing, Cyberpunk 2077 is not crazy demanding on PC hardware, which is good news for those of us who can’t afford a GPU upgrade right now.

Ray tracing

Once again, using Cyberpunk 2077’s RT Ultra preset on PC sees framerates drop massively. Now, only Nvidia’s RTX 4090 achieves solid 60+ FPS framerates without upscaling. When using ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077, upscalers like DLSS or FSR simply become mandatory features.
